Sunny grew up in Pelham and is married to Dr. Aiken. She is a talented manager who is fluent in Korean and can help with interpretation and document descriptions for our Korean patients. Sunny moved back to Alabama after living abroad with her husband for several years in Guinea, West Africa, and Korea. She also served as a Peace Corps volunteer and hopes to return to visit Africa again.
As a dental office manager, she is happy to be responsible for the oral health of our patients. Prior to becoming our office manager, Sunny worked as an English teacher, a small business developer, and a corporate lawyer. She attended the University of Georgia and is a Georgia Bulldogs fan.
Mandy Brock began her dental career and cross-trained as a dental assistant and receptionist in 1997. After many years, she moved forward in her education and earned her hygiene license in 2016. She now has 23 years of dental experience. She loves getting to know her patients while also educating them on good oral hygiene habits and leaving their teeth sparkly clean.
Outside of the dental office, Mandy enjoys spending her time with her five kids and her husband in their home in Kimberly, Alabama. She enjoys being outdoors, watering her garden, playing with her dogs, or snuggling inside watching her all-time favorite series, Grey’s Anatomy.
Jessica was born in Birmingham, Alabama, but spent her early childhood in Mexico. She attended Alabaster City Schools and graduated from Thompson High School in 2014. She was not sure about her career move, so she took a break from school and worked in restaurants until an ad for a dental assisting school caught her attention. The rest is history!
Now, she loves caring for patients, from improving their smiles to educating them about oral hygiene, and dentistry has become a passion. So much so that Jessica is planning to continue her education to become a dental hygienist. She is a dedicated dental assistant who is fluent in both English and Spanish. On her days off, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and young son.
